Our Home
This is our summer home, although it is heated and suitable for year-round use. It is a shingled-cape cod cottage- two bedrooms (one with queen size bed, one with bunk beds), open livingroom, dining area and kitchen, cathedral ceiling. There is also a three season room (unheated) and a sleeping loft overlooking the living room area. The kitchen is updated with dishwasher, granite countertops, microwave and water cooler. Living room has wifi, tv, vcr, dvd. there is a second tv in the porch. Very nautical motif- primary colors, hardwood floors throughout except tile bath with tub. there is an outdoor shower that is heavenly!- There is not much yard- the back is a patio with garden, table and chairs and two adirondacks for lounging. The front yard is grass with a seashell driveway.
Our Neighborhood
We are 2/10 of a mile from a mile long sandy warm water beach on Buzzards Bay. Great for walking, running, cyclying swimming. There are bike paths accessible from the cottage over much of the Cape.There is also a neighborhood beach nearby. This is a charming but not large summer cottage. There are two sleep sofas but really designed for four people with a possibility for occasional guest on the sleep sofas. Our family of four has summered in this cottage for seven years and loved every moment there. It is the perfect spend time with your family in an old fashioned way- board games, bike rides, and lobster dinners.

About Us
We both work full time in the legal field. We have two sons, ages 14 and 15. We have traveled as a family but never done a home exchange. We are looking forward to doing so. We like to explore new places, ride bikes, we love the ocean. We have a golden retriever and a cat but they will not be home during exchange. This is a second home for us so a simultaneous exchange is not necessary. Open to weekend exchanges.
