Stunning Georgian country house dating from 1810 in beautiful Northumberland. The house has been fully refurbished to a very high standard throughout. This is a large and welcoming family home with a drawing room, dining room, kitchen/family room, study and six bedrooms (four off main landing and two in west wing). There is lots of space for children to play both inside and out with large gardens (climbing frame, trampoline) and a very large, indoor beamed play barn for any rainy days.

The house is ideal for an outdoor holiday and comes with six stables, no horses but feel free to bring your own, a veg patch where you can pick your own vegetables and a hen wood for fresh eggs in the morning.

Sitting on the outskirts of the small village of Rennington which has a lovely country pub (2 minute walk), Rennington House is both accessible and rural and has stunning views on all sides - the coast being visible to the east. We are 3 miles from the award winning town of Alnwick, which, according to Country Life, October 2002, "Alnwick is the most picturesque market town in Northumberland, and the best place to live in Britain".

Northumberland is a magical place filled with ancient castles, golden sand beaches, rolling hills, rugged moorland and friendly little market towns. Northumberland is home to England’s most tranquil and inspiring National Park. Rennington house is literally 5 minutes drive from wonderful golden beaches, at least 5 ruined castles, Alnwick Castle (where Harry Potter was filmed) and the wonderful Alnwick Gardens.

The vibrant city of Newcastle is 30 mins drive south and an excellent train service from nearby Alnmouth station will have you in Edinburgh city centre within 60 minutes.
