Our Home
Country cottage style in the heart of cosmopolitan London. My Victorian terrace house in Zone 1 is part of the Jesus Green village in East London, home to the famous Columbia Road flower market and close to fashionable Shoreditch and Hoxton. Shops and restaurants just seconds away including a great local pubs, critically-accalimed restaurants, award winning coffee and bakery.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and blackout shutters. The guest bedroom has a double bed with a view over the garden. The large bathroom has a separate bath and shower with vintage style fittings and is furnished with french antiques. My dining table seats eight and the kitchen has all modern conveniences. I have a new office space with a glass roof which also serves as a garden room. Broadband internet connection, large screen TV & DVD player and music systems all ready for you to use.
Small paved garden perfect for outdoor dining sits next to my office. There is also a ground floor WC. The house is fine for small babies but not ideal for under 5s.
The compliment I get most often from previous exchangers is that my house is extremely comfortable. Perfect after a hard day's sight seeing.
Our Neighborhood
The house sits in a village in the heart of London. Close to the City and between Shoreditch and Hoxton - which has great shopping, restaurants and lots of independent galleries. A great place to discover the new face of London. Everything is in walking distance or a short journey away.
Very close to Brick Lane (Indian food), Kingsland Road (Vietnamese) and Spitalfields (everything else!). Hoxton Square, the Geffrye Museum and V&A Museum of Childhood are on the doorstep, The house is also close to Tate Modern, Tower Bridge, Borough Market & St Pauls. Local buses or tube to Southbank, British Museum, Tower of London, Covent Garden and Oxford Circus. Movie theatres and 50s style bowling alley all close by. Two stops on the tube to the new, huge Westfield shopping mall.
Playgrounds and parks on the doorstep, canal walks and weekend farmers markets. Hoxton, Old Street, Liverpool St and Bethnal Green tubes all nearby. Just two underground stops to St Pancras International and a train from nearby Liverpool Street goes straight to Stansted Airport. City airport is also very close by. This is vibrant central London living at its most convenient.
A Barclays Cycle Hire (Boris Bikes!) station sits directly across the road from my house.

Our Destinations
Open to european city breaks year round. I prefer long haul exchanges to be simultaneous as I work from home.
I prefer homes with at least two bedrooms as I like to travel with a friend. Due to recent travels, I'm currently NOT interested in Rome, Florence, Madrid, Amsterdam or Paris.

About Us
A self-employed Public Relations consultant, I work with museums and large galleries, I also publicise fashion events. I often travel with friends or family members. I am quite flexible in my timing and am not tied to school holidays. I'm now very experienced at home exchanging, having exchanged five times during the past 18 months and I think it's the perfect way to explore new places.
