Our Home
The apartment is located in the old east Berlin. 10 min from Alexanderplatz. The area is very exciting, near the Spree and with lots of cafes, exciting small shops and restaurents and clubs. The apartment is 100m2, It has 2 bedrooms, on with kingsize bed and one with two comfortable bunk beds, a big living room, with a sleeping sofa, and kitchen. The apartment is surrounded by 2 big terraces and small garden. The building was renovated in 2007, back to its original look and the inside made into new apartments. Every room in the appartment has access to the terraces.
There are 4 bikes available - Berlin is a perfect city for getting around by bike.

Our Neighborhood
The apartment is in the heart of Friedrichshain. This is one of the most exiting areas in Berlin right now. Every month opens a small shop with specialities - what about oliveoil and underwear - or a original Italien cafe beside a Vietnamies restaurent. Only 2 min walk to nearest subway - Ostkreutz. In 10 minutes you will be in the middel of Berlin with all its museums and galeries; remarkable history and fantastic shopping. Every weekend there is an organic beautiful foodmarket and fleemarket at Boxhagener Platz nearby. You can bike along the river from the apartment to most of the locations and stop at one of the many beachbars along the river.

About Us
Our names are Allan and Anette We live near Copenhagen in Denmark. We own and and run a private institute in education. We have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. We have travled with our children all over the world and are interested in goin to both large cities and beautiful beaches. We play tennis and other sports. We choose to have a second home in Berlin, because it is the most interesting city in Europe right now. There is history and stories all over. It is a city of possibilities and a magnet for young artist from all over the world. We have found that it is perfect for many generations. We stay in Berlin mainly in weekends and some holidays. But as it is our second home, we can also do exchanges on holidays.
