A pretty property set on the outskirts of the village of Curetta overlooking the beautiful Tenna Valley, Casa Curetta is a newly renovated villa, set amongst the Renaissance hill-top towns of Le Marche, Italy. The house is currently used as our family holiday home and the views are stunning.

On the edge of the Sibilini National Park the property has views from the Adriatic coast to the Sibilini Mountains and beyond. The house is located between two of the most beautiful towns in this area, Santa Vittoria and Servigliano, which have a number of excellent restaurants, bars, shops, and is close to two Ryanair airports; Ancona and Pescara. Other cities within easy reach include Florence, Pisa and Rome. The property sleeps 4 adults and is on split level with each level having it’s own kitchen and bathroom.

Set amongst its own olive grove the property is on a private road and is close to both the coast and the Sibilini Mountains.

With stunning panoramic views over the Sibilini Mountains and renaissance hilltop villages my wife and I have lovingly restored this pretty Italian villa. The property can either be used as one house or split into two apartments as each level has its own kitchen and bathrooms.

FOOD
Le Marche is home to some of the finest foods and wines in all Italy. You will spoilt for choice at the many high quality local restaurants or outdoor markets. Also because you are in the countryside your money goes a long way.

BEACHES
There are some beautiful beaches on the Adriatic coast of Le Marche with the finest being around Conero and San Benedetto del Tronto. The nearest beach is only 30minutes away. You’ll be spoilt for choice for fine seafood restaurants on the coast as well.

GOLF
Le Marche has two very good courses, Conero Golf Club and Golf Club Ilauri

SKIING
The nearest runs are at Frontignano and Bolognola which is just 45 mins away. You have the choice of green, blue and red runs at Bolognola

WALKING
Casa Curetta sits on the edge of the Sibilini National Park and there are many breathtaking walks nearby.

CULTURE & HISTORY
Le Marche has an ancient history and has been occupied since Paleolithic times. The Piceni tribes ruled Le Marche until Greeks from Sicily and Celtic tribes moved in starting in the 4th century BC. Le Marche was the boundary between Papal and Imperial lands and the name Le Marche is derived from the Frankish word for "frontier". It has many beautiful Renaissance towns and villages including Urbino which was the home of Raphael. In addition to many museums you can experience outdoor Opera at Macerata's famous opera season.

We are looking to spend from November 2013 to March 2014 in Asia and are happy to do home exchanges from two weeks to several months. As our house in Italy is our holiday home the exchange would NOT HAVE TO BE SIMULTANEOUS.

My wife and I bought this house when we were married and over the years have lovingly restored it. I am a management consultant and we have lived in the UK, Italy and California but now divide our time between Vancouver, Italy and Asia.
