We are now looking for a 2014 exchange in Key West, Florida -- the Finger Lakes region of NY -- or Quebec City in Canada. We prefer to travel in the summer or early fall. Simultaneous or non-simultaneous exchanges are both possible.


We are offering our two bedroom, two bath resort condo at beautiful Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach which is located at the very tip of the Baja Peninsula.


Fully equipped and sleeping 6 to 8 guests the villa features a private master suite with king size bed, whirlpool bath, walk-in shower, private dressing area and balcony with an unobstructed 180 degree vista of the Pacific Ocean.

The second suite is equipped with two queen size beds and also features a walk-in shower and private balcony as well. Both bedrooms have large screen televisions and cable TV with a mixture of satellite and cable TV channels in English and Spanish languages. There is also a pull-out sleeper sofa in the living room that could accommodate two additional guests if desired.

The remainder of the villa has a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. All cooking utensils, plates, pans, dishes and silverware are also provided. There are two dining options; a counter area and stools overlooking the kitchen and a dining room table with seating for 4. Daily maid service is included.

The living room has the sleeper sofa mentioned previously, which will comfortably seat 4 people, plus two arm chairs and a large screen TV with cable. It opens-up to a large balcony with outdoor seating and a beautiful, 180 degree unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean.

Cabo San Lucas is a very safe destination to visit. Nearly everyone there speaks English and it is very easy to get around. The Pueblo Bonito resort itself is in a gated compound with 24-hour valet and security. The paved access road from the main roadway to the resort is more than 1 mile long and is very private. The resort provides complimentary shuttles to town, which is approximately a 10 minute ride.

Cabo San Lucas is located at the southernmost point on Mexico's Baja Peninsula. It has a desert climate and is very dry, with cactus and scrub-brush growing wild everywhere. Baja is also one of the world's best sport fishing areas and Marlin and Swordfish are routinely caught in the nearby Sea of Cortez.

There are lots of things to do in Cabo San Lucas including water sports, fishing, horseback riding, 4-wheel excursions and much, much more. Only 1.5 hours north is the famous Hotel California immortalized in the song of the same name by the Eagles.

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that my mother and her friend had a fantastic journey to Cabo San Lucas and had nothing but great things to say about their experience at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. They are back home now and we went to lunch yesterday and they told many stories of their adventure. It was quite a success and I thank you for making the trade possible. Hopefully, you will have a fine time in Sonoma County this July. I am available to answer any questions in advance of your arrival.

We both work and whether it is a simultaneous or non-simultaneous exchange, we please ask you to give as much advance notice as possible so we can plan our work schedules.

Because we have to plan our travels in advance it is impossible for us to do something "next week", no matter how tempting. Thanks for understanding.

For a simultaneous exchange we need at least 6 to 8 weeks advance notice and may have some dates where our jobs don't allow us to take a vacation. The further the date is in the future, the more likely it is that we can meet your schedule.

We are much more flexible for a non-simultaneous exchange, and can usually exchange for the exact dates you want if we make arrangements early in the year for a date in the future. It is a big help you can give us a first, second and third choice of weeks you prefer.

Our villa is available for any date during the year except for the last two weeks of the year covering Christmas and New Year's.

Please keep in mind that Cabo is a very popular tourist destination and gets booked-up very rapidly for the high season. The earlier we book, the more likely it is to reserve your preferred dates.

Open to any dates

We are experienced travelers and are open to travel to just about any part of the world. Our most recent international trip was to Yellowstone National Park in 2010, and to Singapore and Beijing in the past couple of years. We are very interested in travel to Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Scandinavia, Iceland and the UK, as well as the Caribbean Islands, Mexico and Belize. We exchanged in 2010 for a home in Jackson Hole WY, and in 2009 made an exchange in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

We are both college graduates; Karen (54) is an Accountant for a chemical company, and Andy (57) is a Marketing Manager with SAP, which is a very large German ERP software company. Karen speaks some German, but our primary language is English. Our two grown sons sometimes travel with us when we can align our schedules. Occasionally we invite another couple to travel with us.

We are both non-smokers and are neat and clean, and will treat your home with care and respect.
