A spacious apartment located in a luxurious building in Amsterdam West (110 square meters = 131 yard). The 2008-aparment is fitted out with all modern conveniences. You can reach the apartment from street level or parking garage by elevator. The apartment comes with a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, etcetera) and 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has king-size electric boxspring. The other bedrooms are perfectly suitable for children/baby with a baby bed and a toddler bed. We also have a (extra) sofabed for 2 persons. There is a large bathroom with a double sink, bath and shower. The apartment also has 2 storage rooms (one containing washer/dryer). There is a balcony (8 m2) located on the south-west side for sun until late in the evening. The building has facilities to park your car and bike (on the -1/basement level). There is a every week maid service.
We have baby and toddler items, including a lot of toys.
Exchanging homes means taking care of our lovely (young) cats Amir and Niene. They are poles apart: Amir is naughty while Niene is more like a lap cat.

Our Neighborhood
Upcoming neighbourhood with nice theatre and restaurants (e.g. Bagels & Beans, sushi, Turkish, Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Dutch kitchen). Every day (international) market on the Gulden Wincelplantsoen-square. Close to Erasmuspark and Westerpark. Excellent (tram, bus and metro-)connections takes you within 15 minutes to anywhere in Amsterdam. 20 minutes-ride (by car) to Zaanse Schans, 20 minites-ride (by car) to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. 30 minutes-ride to the beach (Zandvoort or Scheveningen). Very friendly and helpful neighbours.

About Us
We, Maarten and Manon, met each other on the lecture-room of the Amsterdam VU University Law School. Manon (34y) works at a children rights organisation at Leiden (30 minutes from Amsterdam and very worth seeing). Maarten (31y) works as a public prosecuter at the Prosecution service of Amsterdam.
Maarten en Manon are married since October 2007 and proud parents of two. Our daughter Tessel (3y) and son Maurits (1y) love to travel with their parents.
