Our Home
Our home is located south of Munich in a lovely neighborhood. One of our biggest advantages is the public transport to the city of Munich ( 30 min. with the S -Bahn to the heart of Munich) and the lovely countryside of Upper Bavaria ( Alps, lakes, monastery, brewery, forest,....)
Our house is very bright and spacious with a little garden around. Ideal for families with kids, but also very enjoyable for couples!
Public transport is very close ( 5 min. walk) as well as shopping ( butcher, baker - the best in the area with lovely sourdough bread, buns,...pharmacy, doctors, restaurants, playground,....)
We can offer bikes (2 trekking bikes) to explore the area to cycle to the next Biergarten!
The studio with little a bathroom is for our guests, so you can bring friends along.

Our Neighborhood
Sauerlach is a lovely little town outside of Munich. Only 30 min. with the public transport ( without changing trains!) away from Marienplatz ( the heart of Munich) and its museums and cultural sites. On the other hand it is a short car drive to lovely bavarian lakes ( Tegernsee, Starnberger See) and mountains. It is a great area for all kinds of sport activities in summer ( swimming, cycling, hiking, horseback riding) and winter ( skiing, skating on frozen lakes, cross country skiing,..)
Austria and especially Salzburg ( only 1 hour drive with the car) are easily reachable on the Autobahn (as well as by train) and worth a visit too.
And don't forget about the famous castle Neuschwanstein ( within an hours reach) and the world famous OKTOBERFEST !

About Us
Eva( 34) and Rudi (40) with their girls Nora (6), Ellen (4) and Valerie ( 7 months) have travelled the world and stayed in Asia and the US before moving back to Bavaria. Rudi ( manager for a semiconductor industry) cycles everyday to work along lush meadows and green forests for 40 min. Eva takes currently a break from teaching in Kindergarten and enjoys her time with the girls.
