Our Home
Large 3 Bedroom home. Recently renovated. Large backyard with gas grill. Outdoor dining table big enough for a family. Three bedrooms upstairs. Two full baths. Modern kitchen. Separate dining room with sliding glass doors leading to nice backyard. Large finished basement. Dishwasher. Washer/dryer in basement. Wireless internet and cable TV with HBO. 20 minute subway ride to lower Manhattan. Walking distance from Prospect Park. 30-40 minute subway ride to Coney Island. Park Slope is a modern, hip neighborhood great for families and young adults. Many great new restaurants with Manhattan quality but Brooklyn prices.
Our Neighborhood
Park Slope has been a booming neighborhood in Brooklyn for the past 15 years. It is home to many hip new restaurants with varying prices. We are 2.5 blocks from 7th Avenue which has a vibrant night life. Three subway lines arrive in the neighborhood which go into Manhattan. Many 19th century brownstones in the heart of Park Slope and stylish new condo developments in the outskirts. Prospect Park is a large park designed by Frederick Law Olmstead (designer of Central Park and Golden Gate Park)with many great activities, including free outdoor concerts during the summer months.

About Us
We are a family of four. Father: Kit. Mother: Sheila. Children: Marya (b.1999) and Danielle (b.2001). Kit is a high school teacher and Sheila is a human resources director at a non-profit. Both in our late '40's. We have travelled quite a bit within the United States, including one trip to Hawaii. In the summer of 2009 we took a family trip to France. In August 2011 we completed an exchange in Italy. The kids love swimming and outdoor games. We like seeing historic and cultural sites as well.
