This classic California-style home is just a stone's throw from the village of Carmel-by-the-Sea and the historic Carmel Mission, in a quiet, family neighborhood. The house has wood floors throughout, stone in the baths and carpet in the master bedroom.The master suite has a king size bed, the guest room has a double bed and the third bedroom, which also acts as an office, has a double futon. Both baths have been updated recently with new tile and fixtures. The guest bath has a tub and shower while the master bath has a shower only. The open floorplan features a combined living area, dining room and kitchen making it ideal for family gatherings and entertaining.The stone pation is quite large and nice for bar-b-q's or morning coffee.The kitchen is well equipped with all amenities including a washer/dryer, microwave and dishwasher. We are 2 hours south of San Francisco.It is a 10 minute walk to Carmel beach--ideal for walking, kayaking, surfing and beach bonfires. The house is a quick walk away from Carmel by-the-Sea, a picturesque community world-renowned for its high quality restaraunts, shopping and art galleries. Drive 20 minutes to the famous Pebble Beach Resorts to see one of the world's historic golf courses. The Dramatic coastline of Big Sur is just south of Carmel and provides some of the most beautiful views imagineable of the Pacific Ocean. There are lots of interesting sites to visit such as the Carmel Mission--a few blocks away, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and beautiful 17-Mile Drive

Dates are generally flexible, although we are often looking for travel opportunities in September-October.

My husband and I live part of the year in Carmel and the other part in Frinton-on-Sea, England. We are both automotive event consultants and enjoy visiting automotive events around the world. We enjoy, hiking, boating and exploring new cities. We will sometimes travel by ourselves, sometimes with friends, and sometimes with our grown children.
