Our Home
Our wooden chalet is in a quartier with other chalets. It faces the mountains at about 1000 m. It's a nice place to spend quiet time and sleep very long. There is an open living room with a closed fire place. The wood comes from the forests of the valley. The kitchen is open and has everything someone needs to cook and a dish washer. There are 2 big bedrooms and a small one, there is enough place for 2 to 6 persons. The lake and the skilifts are 2 km from the chalet.

Schwarsee (also called in French Lac Noir) is 25 minutes from Fribourg, 50 minutes from Berne. There is a bus connection from Fribourg train station.

About Us
We are a Swiss Canadian Family with 2 kids aged 5 and 7. Katherine is a CSR specialist and Laurent is working as a program manager for economic development in Tunisia and Kosovo for the Swiss Government. We already did 3 exchanges at Christmas time in Paris (2010) Brussels (2011) and Strasbourg (2012) and we had a lot of fun.
