Fantastic location in Whistler with stunning lake and mountain views throughout our home and neighbourhood. Our home is brand new, on 3 levels, with over 3500 square feet. We are directly across the street from Alta Lake on a private street in an exclusive neighbourhood. This is the real Whistler, amidst forests, lakes and mountains, yet with easy access to all amenities. Visit in summer and a friendly local bear might amble by. Easy, quick access to Whistler Village, skiing, golf etc.

Our home is a modern chalet style with extensive wood beams and luxurious, comfortable finishings throughout. The main floor has an open plan living room/dining room and kitchen which creates a fabulous large entertaining space, opening onto the back patio. The living room has 30' vaulted wood ceilings, large picture windows, a gas fireplace and comfy furniture. The dining room has a large dining table and an adjoining cozy reading nook. The gourmet kitchen has high-end stainless appliances, granite counters, stunning tile backsplash and is fully equipped. The main floor also has a separate family room with a large flat screen tv, gas fireplace and comfy furniture, with an attached bathroom. The family room sectional opens into a queen size sofa bed.

Upstairs is a master bedroom suite with gas fireplace, sitting area and tv, walk in closet, king size bed and ensuite bath with walk-in shower and tub. Also a second bedroom with king size bed, large closet and ensuite bath with tub/shower.

The downstairs entry level has two hall closets and immediate access to a spacious storage room. Also two more bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, large closet, ensuite bathroom and doors opening to a patio. Downstairs also has a laundry room with washer/dryer and second fridge.

There is much more: heated tile floors throughout, a back patio with gas bbq., a large front deck overlooking the lake and a large 2 car garage. We are right on the Valley Trail, just a 2 km walk to Whistler Village. First class skiing, golf, hiking nearby.

Our driveway and street are plowed soon after any snowfall over 4 cm. Cleaning services are available and our home is always professionally cleaned before guests arrive.

We have a fleet of 4+ mountain bikes available for your use, as well as 2+ kayaks.

Lakecrest is an exlusive neighbourhood and one of the best locations in Whistler. We're on a peaceful, private street on Alta Lake - this is the real Whistler, amidst forests, lakes and mountains, yet with easy access to all amenities. There are stunning lake and mountain views from our home and throughout our neighbourhood. Skiing at Whistler/Blackcomb is a 3 minute drive away (with free parking). Or cross-country ski at the Callaghan Valley (site of the 2010 Nordic events) or the nearby Lost Lake trails.

An extensive network of beautiful walking and biking trails starts near our street. Take a short walk to local parks or to Whistler Village. If you prefer, head off for a walk on some beautiful unpaved wilderness trails.

In Summer, three great golf courses are 5 minutes away and another stunningly scenic golf course, Big Sky, is 30 minutes away in Pemberton. Absolutely stunning hikes abound, world class mountain bike trails and canoeing and kayaking are steps away. Nearby Lakeside Park and Wayside Park have swimming docks, boating, picnic tables and playgrounds. Rope swing into a mountain lake or kayak down a beautiful river, we'll tell you where the locals go for amazing adventures that you will never forget...

Charming Whistler Village is a very short drive away or better yet, a 30 minute walk along the Valley Trail. Dining, shopping and entertainment options abound in the Village. We'll give you the highlights.

Our Whistler home is our second home so we are very flexible with dates and a non simulataneous exchange is easy to arrange.

We are a family of 5 with 3 kids aged 19, 17 and 13. Michael is a lawyer/businessman and Leslie is a retired lawyer. We are a very active family, enjoying skiing, tennis, biking, hiking, golf and the great outdoors. We are all very respectful of other homes and will take great care of your home and belongings. We are keen to offer our home for exchange with other adventurous families looking to swap their own piece of paradise.
