Our Home
Large family home with views of the Pacific. Hotel-like backyard including large pool with a slide and jacuzzi; outdoor fireplace, grill, and 1/2 basketball court. Three levels include a Master bedroom on top floor has its own deck with sweeping views of the crashing surf. The main floor has two bedrooms with twin beds that can be adjoined to create a king size; each with their own baths. A media room includes five computers. The rest of the main floor includes the kitchen, large family room with flat screen TV and living room with baby grand piano. Downstairs room includes queen bed and second family room with another flat-screen TV. Fifteen minute walk to the beach. Bikes, beach chairs, surfboard and boogie boards available.
Our Neighborhood
Solana Beach is a beautiful, artful seaside town. Walk or bike to the shore that exposes reef tide pools full of adventure for the kids, or to the warm sand at another. To the north (also walkable)is a state nature reserve and lagoon with trails for hiking/walking & birdwatching. Well-known Cedros Design District is located down the hill featuring an array of shopping, dining and live music at night. Del Mar Race Track is in full swing July & August. We are minutes from La Jolla Playhouse and Torrey Pines State Reserve. Legoland is 20 minutes away, half hour to Seaworld and the world famous San Diego Zoo and one hour drive to Disneyland.

About Us
My name is Mary and my husband is Mike. We have four daughters ages 17,17,15 and 12 and a golden retriever named Benny. Mike has been a CFO software company executive. I work at home and get the girls to & from activities such as lacrosse, soccer, choir and water polo. We love living in this fabulous town of Solana Beach; our home is comfortable and busy. We've had three wonderful exchanges previously; one in LA and others in Sweden and Paris.
