The apartment is very cozy, in the best location of Copacabana, one block from Copacabana Beach, right behind the famous Copacabana Palace Hotel.
We just finished ( oct 2011 )a major architect planned renovation and the apt is beautiful.
It is quiet,on the 10th floor.
The building has a 24 hr doorman.
The subway is very near, 5 minutes walking ,and few stations ahead is Ipanema beach, Arpoador beach ( where you will see the most beautiful spot for watching the sunset) and ,on sundays , the huge Hippie Fair, a must see. Also, you can go by subway and bus connection to the Sugar Loaf.
Rio is beautiful and friendly .
The temperature is always warm.

Shopping Centers nearby. Fruits and vegetal markets and supermarkets neaby.
Subway is next block. Public transportation is OK.
Jogging ,biking or just walking on the beach sidewalk at sunset is a must.
Do not forget sun glasses, sun lotion for protection...and a hat.
