Our home is an oasis of peacefulness and beauty in the centre of Montreal. We are located in Outremont, an area of Montreal known for its parks, cafés and restaurants, as well as chic boutiques and wonderful street life. The bus and metro are both a short walk from our front door. Of course, you can cycle on the numerous bike paths or take a cab, easy and inexpensive. We live in a detached, lower duplex condo. That means that we have large windows all around letting in lots of light with views of trees and a garden.
On the main floor there is a livingroom, diningroom, fully equipped kitchen, an office, our bedroom (kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom), another bedroom with a sofabed, and a complete bathroom. Downstairs there are two more bedrooms and another bathroom and laundry room. Our sons used to live in this part of the house, but they are now grown and living in California. The exchange is perfect for a couple, as the house is now just for the two of us. However, the sofabed in the sitting room and the single beds and double futon downstairs could be pefect for older children or teenagers.
We love it and so will you!

Montreal is a cosmopolitan, culture-filled city. Our part of Montreal is Outremont. It has tree-lined streets, charming avenues and the best part is how close it is to downtown and all of the attractions.
We have off-street parking and a garage if you should rent a car. A car-exchange may be possible, too. You can reach some of the most beautiful areas of Quebec by driving relatively short distances. We will be happy to provide you with details for the best destinations.

As well as our condo in Montreal, we own a large, beautiful, renovated farmhouse in Sutton. We also have an AWD Subaru that could be included in an exchange.

We are free to travel all year long. The exchange can be non-simultaneous, as we spend most of our time at our house in the country.
We would love to travel next winter. You could come here anytime. Autumn is a wonderful time to visit Quebec, as the colors are extraordinary. You could also come at any point in 2014.

Also, we are open to exchanges with short notice.

Our two adult sons live in Los Angeles. We would love to visit them in LA, and we are also interested in other areas of California.You could come to Montreal at any point during the year. We like cities, mountains, beaches and unusual or exotic places. Please tempt us with any offer.
We would love to go somewhere warm next winter, and in exchange you could come to Montreal this summer, or fall or in 2014.
Europe, India, and Southeast Asia are also on our list.
