Our home is 2200 square ft. on an acre with vineyards and wooded hillside across the road, and large trees, hillside vineyard views, and the Maacama Creek in back. French doors open to a large new deck (partially covered), with outdoor kitchen, comfortable furniture, hot tub, and beautiful view. Our recently remodeled Master Suite, has a King-size bed, bath with jet/air tub and walk-in shower, and a walk-in closet. Our guest bedroom also has a King-size bed and adjoining bath. In the living room we have a fireplace, 50-inch flat-screen TV, stereo, etc. The kitchen has granite counters and is well-equipped. We have T-1 high-speed internet service with WIFI and a printer/fax. There is a 3rd bath by the office area. In the back of the house, we have a very pleasant room with large windows and view. In this room we have a large round dining table, as well as a sitting area.

We are in a perfect location for exploring the Sonoma/Napa wine country. In the Alexander Valley between Healdsburg (Sonoma County) and Calistoga (top of the Napa Valley), we are surrounded by oak-studded hillsides, vineyards, and outstanding wineries. We live on a private road only a few miles from the Russian River, where you can enjoy kayaking and canoeing. The town of Healdsburg is small and historic, chic and quaint, with fine shops and restaurants and a beautiful town square. The Sonoma Coast is an hour away, where you can hike the scenic cliffs, enjoy beaches and dine on fresh seafood. The town of Calistoga, at the top of the Napa Valley, is 25 minutes away, via beautiful Knights Valley. Windsor, with shopping and entertainment is 15 minutes away. We are 67 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. A nice way to go into the San Francisco (besides driving over the Golden Gate Bridge), is to go to Larkspur and take the ferry past San Quentin, Alcatraz, and Angel Island to the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero, from which you can get anywhere in the City.

Hi, I am Diane, a retired high school teacher, and my husband is Don, a retired real estate investor. We have enjoyed living in Healdsburg for many years.
