Our Home
Extremely well maintained 4 bedroom, modern, split-level bungalow with garden. Sitting room, family room, bathroom, shower room ensuite to master bedroom. Well equipped kitchen - dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, double oven etc. Car exchange available. No smokers. No pets. Very experienced house exchangers of 16 years. Plenty of toys/games for children. Satellite TV, Hi-fi, DVD player, hi-speed wireless internet.
Our Neighborhood
We live in a quiet, exclusive suburb of Kirkcaldy, a coastal town of 50 000 inhabitants. Perfect, central location for exploring Scotland. 30 minutes from Edinburgh, with its Castle, Festivals and Tattoo and 40 minutes from St. Andrews, the home of golf. The beautiful scenery and history of the Highlands is less than 2 hours away.

Our Dates
We will be travelling during the period July 9 - August 6 and would like to organise two exchanges during this period, if possible.
Our Destinations
Our first aim is to visit Lake Tahoe in California for a couple of weeks. We would also like another 2-week stay in California/Arizona.

About Us
I am Dave and I have just retired from being Head of Computing at a local Secondary school and my wife, Rae, is a teacher adviser. We enjoy travelling and have been home exchangers for 16 years. We love it! We really want to experience the 'real' country when we travel and home exchanging is a great way to do this. We have 3 children, 1 now living in California, the other 2 are still at university here. They will not be travelling with us - they have their own holiday plans! We have 1 house rabbit and a lovely 1 year old Cavalier King Charles puppy, who will go on their own vacation to friends whilst we are away! In the summer of 2013 we would like to visit California to see our son and have a holiday, too.
