Our Home
Comfy home with beautiful waterviews, private pier, 3BR 2B (sleeps 10 in comfort) full kitchen, octagonal sun/family room with high ceilings. Patio and hot tub. Satellite TV, VCR, movies, books, and games. Optional guest suite (4th bdrm, 3rd mbath) with separate entry accomodates 2 more people. "Lighthouse" play loft for kids. On the mile wide intercoastal waterway midway between Baltimore and Philadelphia, each an hour away, and 2 hours from New York City or Washington DC. The boating/kayaking is excellent and the hiking trails in the nearby park are terrific, especially the one out to the lighthouse at Turkey Point. The house has recently been remodeled.
Our Neighborhood
Elk Neck peninsula is a hilly, woodsy tract of land extending southward into the northern end of the Chesapeake Bay, with fresh water for crabbing, boating, swimming, and fishing. Most of the peninsula is devoted to the Elk Neck State Park. Only twenty minutes from I-95, during the last ten minutes of your drive you follow a winding highway and gravel roadway that will give you the feeling you've found a true retreat from the outside world. Although the Home Ex map indicates were the village of Elk Neck is, the house is actually located on the shore of the Bay.
There are so many day trips within an hour or two drive, it is hard to mention them all. New Castle, DE, Longwood Gardens and Winterthur, the Pennsylvania "Dutch" country, Atlantic City, and all of the Middle Atlantic regions beaches, mountains, and city attractions from New York City and Philadelphia to Baltimore and Washington DC. There are excellent golf courses, museums, restaurants, marinas, and quaint villages to explore within 30 minutes of the house, your biggest problem will be deciding among so many possibilities...but it is safe to say that whatever outdoor pursuits you enjoy, you can find it nearby.

About Us
We are a middle aged couple who often travels with another person or couple. Our interests are varied, and range from culinary adventures to golf, sailing, and sightseeing. We prefer waterfront venues, but also enjoy the mountains and cities from time to time. We are unabashed oenophiles. We are fairly flexible as to exchange dates, and exchanges do not need to be simultaneous.
In addition to our Chesapeake Bay home, we have a smaller 2+ bedroom home in Fort Myers, Florida, on a lake which connects to the Caloosahatchee River and the Gulf of Mexico. We haven't listed it as yet, although we are happy to discuss sharing or exchanging that home, especially in the shoulder seasons of September to December, or April and May, which also happen to be our favorite months to travel. The Florida house also has a lovely dock, and is a superb jumping off point for doing some easy, relaxing boating, or getting out on the Gulf for some island hopping adventures.
