Our Home
Our summer house with garden is located in a small village which is part of the city of Deggendorf in Lower Bavaria. Ground floor with spaceous kitchen, living room with Kachelofen, wintergarden and terrace, piano-room with a double-bed and a bathroom with tub.
In the first floor there are 3 bedrooms (2 double-beds; 1 bunk-bed with optional sofa-bed) and a bathroom with shower. In addition there is a gallery under the roof with 2 single-beds. The house is located in a calm neighbourhood in a small dead-end street.

Our house is located in a small village, part of the city of Deggendorf in Lower Bavaria within the Danube valley close to the Bavarian Forest.
Lakes and an adventure pool with wellness area are in walking distance or easily accessible by bike that are provided.
Golf is possible in Deggendorf and small skiing areas in the Bavarian Forest are in 1/2 hour driving distance.

For centuries Lower Bavaria was a region with a rich culture in the heart of Europe. It is 120 km from Munich airport, having the UNESCO world heritage Regensburg 70km away, the mountains (Bavarian Forest), monasteries, the famous baroque churches from the Asam-brothers, old towns and the Danube close by.
In addition you can do one-day trips to Tschechoslowakia (to Praha, Cesky Crumlov UNESCO world heritage), or to Austria (Salzburg, Linz) or to Upper Bavaria and the Alps which are in a one to two day-trip distance.
The Bavarian Forest with the National Park SUMAVA is famous for hiking and other outdoor activities.

About Us
We are a family of 5: Corinna, running our "family business", Peter, a PhD working in the pharmaceutical industry and the 3 kids, Therese (15), Johanna (19) and Andreas (21,) all going to school or college. We are living in the Rhine-Ruhr region close to Cologne.
The two elder kids only sometimes join us or maybe we are travelling with friends.
