Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek makeup what is known as Red Rock Country. The area is known for its famous Red Rock formations which soar high above the town at an elevation of 4000-4500 feet. Adding to its breathtaking scenery is Oak Creek which meanders right through the middle of this area. Oak Creek is stocked with Trout and is a popular destination during the summer months.
Additionally, Sedona is surrounded by 2 million acres of Coconino national forest and there are over 300 world class hiking trails to enjoy. There are also many Native American ruins throughout the area to explore. Some of the most famous trails and red rock formations not to be missed are Broken Arrow Trail, Bell Rock Pathway, Bear Mountain and several of the trails leading to Cathedral Rock, the most photographed rock. Some of the activities enjoyed by the locals and 3.5 million visitors are golf, hiking, mountain biking, tennis, jeep tours, art galleries and numerous health spas.

About Us
John and Carmen are successful real estate agents in Sedona and love what we do. We have two adult married children and two grandchildren. Our older son, John, lives in New York City and is an entertainment law attorney and movie producer; their younger son, Marc, lives in San Francisco and is a software developer. The exchange party would include John and Carmen. We are originally from New York City and spent most of their adult lives in Westchester County, NY and Fairfield County, Connecticut before relocating to Sedona nine years ago.
