Our Neighborhood

Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek makeup what is known as Red Rock Country. The area is known for its famous Red Rock formations which soar high above the town at an elevation of 4000-4500 feet. Adding to its breathtaking scenery is Oak Creek which meanders right through the middle of this area. Oak Creek is stocked with Trout and is a popular destination during the summer months.

Additionally, Sedona is surrounded by 2 million acres of Coconino national forest and there are over 300 world class hiking trails to enjoy. There are also many Native American ruins throughout the area to explore. Some of the most famous trails and red rock formations not to be missed are Broken Arrow Trail, Bell Rock Pathway, Bear Mountain and several of the trails leading to Cathedral Rock, the most photographed rock. Some of the activities enjoyed by the locals and 3.5 million visitors are golf, hiking, mountain biking, tennis, jeep tours, art galleries and numerous health spas.

Sedona is also about the arts. It has become a Mecca for artists who have opened numerous art galleries all over town. The Sedona International film festival in February draws films and visitors from all over the world and is a week of high energy and fun. The spiritual quality of the red rock formations and canyons draws thousands seeking personal growth and transformation. Sedona and the surrounding area is a place like no other and one you should experience. The climate is high desert, dry, sunny and beautiful year round.
