The Home
Our is a small 70 sq. metres apartment, plus three terraces and an under roof storage room. The apartment has a big central room plus two bedrooms and a bathroom.
It is a house full of light. It has 3 terraces, which are as large as the apertment, where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner, following or escaping the sun's position. There is a single bathroom with a shower. The apartment is under the roof, and has air conditioning. The house has an elevator.
We will leave for you two bicicles, one with also a child seat. You can walk to Brunelleschi's dome (30 min.) or go by bike (10 min.). We can also leave you our Renault Twingo. The house is filled with books (novels, books on design, philosophy, mathematics, science...) in English, French and Italian - some poetry in German. There are plenty of toys for kids.
There is hi-speed internet access and a WI-FI, also a stereo. There is no TV. We have a cleaning woman coming once a week who could come also when you are there if you want.

The Neighborhood
This is an area of Florence which is connected, a continuation of the town center, but also very quiet and surrounded by countryside. There is a children playground 300 metres from our house. You are really close to Fiesole and Settignano, which are beautiful small towns just outside Florence. By car you can get to the northern part of Tuscany (Mugello, ...) without having to cross the town traffic.
