The east coast has the Atlantic Ocean crashing against its shores. I took this from one of our favorite spots on the east coast for a casual lunch, Round House. (We live on the SOUTH coast, where the Caribbean Sea is calm.)
Exploring the island is loads of fun; here we are on a photography-taking tour of the island led by a professional photographer.
Two large beaches are very nearby, but our own small beach is perfect to swim and snorkel from.
The crystal clear sea invites you for a swim. (You can swim quite far out and still be only thigh-deep.)
Our third-floor apartment faces south, so we see both sunrise and sunset.
