Our Home
This historic, secluded renovated barn whose views give to unobstructed fields occupies a unique perch in the Berkshires. It is far from the maddening crowd and yet minutes to all the cultural and scenic glory the area has to offer.
Our Neighborhood
Privacy & Creativity. Those are the words that come to mind with this house. Numerous musical soirees have taken place in the grand room, including a private concert by renown singer James Taylor. The sweeping views of fields (often with cows) lend the house an unparalleled sense of serenity yet, it is located just 10 minutes from the Mass. pike and a short drive to all of the Berkshires' sports and cultural attractions. Everyone who comes here never wants to leave! In the fall the foliage is superb, in the winter you can cross country ski from right out the back door and in the summer there's an outdoor shower, a private pool and a jacuzzi. As this is a family home, it has an expansive open kitchen,a screened in porch and a large fireplace. It is perfect for those gatherings of the extended clan. The house is lovingly and comfortably decorated with antiques and art.
As this is a second home, we'd be flexible to non-simultaneous swaps. We're looking for something warm in the winter but are open to other suggestions and game to travel. This house can also be combined with a swap for a duplex in an historic townhouse in Brownstone Brooklyn. See listing #98572. Make us an offer!
