Casita @ Trails End is a delightful secluded hideaway vacation rental. It is in extension of "my" house which is the other listing on this site.
The Casita which is completely remodeled with granite counter top, marble shower, in-floor radiant heat, stained concrete floors (no carpet at all in order to create an allergy friendly environment). Captivating views and wildlife you'll rarely find anywhere else; Hawks, eagles, hummingbirds, road runners and millions of quail singing their tunes to delight are just some of the birds you'll readily see and hear. Along with bunnies, lizards, coyotes, and toads singing in the night. Corrales is a delightful and enchanting community in the center of the state of New Mexico. It is located 20 minutes from the Albuquerque Sun Port, 35 minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza. You can see links to the Village of Corrales on my website www.nancywils.com. I am the local Realtor in town and have helped many many quality people move here from all around the world.
There is an ambiance in Corrales you won't find anywhere else. Aside from the fact that the surroundings in Corrales are aesthetically beautiful, almost every weekend there is some sort of festival or market going on. We have many artists in the community and so of course many galleries, and art shows. There's the local "growers" market on Sundays and Wednesdays. Tuesday nights the Corrales Library host performances free to the public in the adjoining park (La Entrada Park). All the local restaurants have outdoor seating areas (some with fireplaces) where almost every night you can hear some of our local musical entertainers, and this is where the locals meet. There are antique stores, and day spas, the state of the art community pool, and so much more. The village is very equestrian and animal friendly. The Sunflower market on the corner has both organic and not organic produce, a wonderful deli dept. Sushi, wine tastings and chair massage, all the homeopathic stuff you may need and almost anything else you can think of. Again the ambiance and friendly people are worth writing home about. A couple of times a week they even have the big grill going outside where everything is $1.00,

I am in my (late?) 40's. I own the local Real Estate Co. and as mentioned above, I have helped many people move to this area. Recently I purchased a Tae Kwon Do studio together with my oldest son and boyfriend and another couple. I teach yoga and dance.
My boyfriend works for the govt. and is a fitness instructor as well.
I have an 11 year old boy who is the sunshine of my life that is with me every other week. My two older boys are on their own all grown up.
