You are on the beach path to Boulders beach and the famous penguin colony. But you don't need to leave home to see them as the penguins are happy to join you in the garden if you leave the gate open!
The generous accommodation includes 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, a large living room and private dining room. There is a lovely spacious garden and outdoor braai/barbecue area with an adjacent entertainment room including a championship billiard table. Enjoy watching the whales and dolphins from the upstairs balcony or the penguins from your garden.

Maritime is the perfect self catering accommodation for 6 guests wanting to relax and unwind in a comfortable and secure home. The position allows for only a minute’s walk to Boulders Beach and Windmill beach. The golf course is situated directly behind the house and the quaint town of Simonstown with its museums and good restaurants is just down the road. Maritime is the ultimate holiday destination!

Simonstown is a historic naval town and is on the sea with incredible beaches. It is small and quaint and has some excellent restaurants. Finest in Cape Town. There is a gol course directly behind the house for any keen golfers. Simonstown is close to Cape Point Nature Reserve (8 mins drive) and allows for a lovely drive along the sea front to some of the finest wine estates and over the famous Chapmans Peak drive for incredible vistas over Cape Town. Simonstown has been declared the safest place in South Africa and is quite unique in that it is has a small village feel to it but is only 20 mins from the bright lights of Cape Town! An average weekend for us is spent walking from our home along the beach front into town. Enjoying a lovely breakfast on the harbour, shopping in the most fantastic vintage decor shops, picking up fresh produce and meats for a barbecue in our garden later.

We are very flexible when it comes to dates. We would however prefer to be away for our Cape winter, May to September.

We are looking for a lovely, comfortable home or apartment that will allow us to explore your beautiful town and country. Good food markets, lovely restaurants and interesting museums and art exhibits would be good. I love an exciting city while my husband is more of an outdoors person.

My husband, Gregg, and I, Caroline lived in Simonstown and thoroughly enjoyed being close to the sea, fresh air, long walks and tranquility. We have 2 small children that LOVE Simonstown as it has wonderful rock pools, 2 beaches on either side of the house and lots of penguins to marvel at! And the town itself is a real gem. The home is currently unoccupied as we travel a great deal as my husband works in the safari industry (Botswana, Namibia, Zambia) It is a real beauty and deserves a family or great bunch of friends to enjoy it!
