Our Home
Our home is a lovely family home located in a quaint and trendy little village called Monkstown (full of restaurants, coffee shops and boutique stores) on the south side of Dublin, just 8 mins walk to the sea and 15 mins to city centre by car/train/bus. Monkstown is on the DART line (commuter train) so everywhere is very accessible if you prefer not to drive.
The house comprises of 4 bedrooms, sitting room, dining room, kitchen/living room, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a playroom/TV room and an office (which can also be used as another bedroom) and has a lovely back garden and off street parrking to the front for 2 cars.
Our Neighborhood
Our village (Monkstown) is a trendy and quaint little village on the south side of Dublin on the coast. Our house is just 6 mins walking distance from the village and another 2 mins to the seafront. It is a very popular area due to all the eateries and boutiques (selling clothes and household goods). We are just 5 mins by train/car to DunLaoghaire which is a beautiful larger coastal town with a lovely harbour and pier, and lots of shops/restaurants and a lovely park which has a farmers market each Sunday with lots of stalls selling food, gifts, organic produce etc.
Our house is in a quiet mature residential estate and has gates to front and to side making it very secure for children. We have lovely neighbours which can help with any queries/problems you may have.

Other Information
This will be our 2nd exchange. We went to Valencia, Spain last year for 5 weeks and had a fabulous experience!

Our Dates
Our house is only available during the Summer school holidays, i.e. July/August 2013 and we are looking for somewhere for 4 weeks preferably but are flexible!
Our Destinations
We love France and have holidayed there several times with our children, so would now like to do a house swap there !
About Us
There are 4 in our family - myself Carmel, my husband Mark and two childern, 9 and 7 years. We are both working professionals in the software and telecommunications industries and seek holidays that expose us to new cultures and outdoor activities that can be enjoyed by all the family. We are non smokers and have no pets.
