Very nice apartment in Verbier (incredible ski resort in Switzerland, one of he largest in the Alps, with easy to terrific slopes, see www.verbier.ch). Nice and cosy atmosphere, in a chalet of 3 apartments (one per floor, ours being on the 2nd floor). Facing south, with a wonderful view over the mountains, one minute away walking from the main square and the busses to the slopes (or 10min walking from the slopes), but completely quiet ...

Description
The flat is around 130m2, has two double bedrooms (160x200/140x200) and one bedroom with one 90x200 bed 1 mastress below (that can be pulled out to sleep). There is two bathrooms, one with bath/WC and one with Shower/WC. The kitchen is brand new (with induction, microwave, dishwasher, ...) and is open to the large (>30m2) living room (dining sitting). This main room is facing south, has 2 large french windows, and there is a balcony running on all the south part, around 1m large and 10m long. Thus the panorama is impressive and relaxing, with only the roofs of other chalets, and the mountains in the distance ...

Très joli appartement à Verbier (importante station de ski, une des plus grandes des Alpes, avec des pistes bleues a noires, voir sous www.verbier.ch). Atmosphere calme et tranquile, dans un chalet de 3 appartements (un par étage, le notre étant au 1er). Orienté sud, avec une vue superbe sur les montagnes avoisinantes, à une minute à pied de la place centrale et des bus conduisants aux installations (ou 10min à pied), mais dans un endroit très très calme, en retrait.

L'appartement fait ~130m2, a deux chambres doubles (lits de 160x200/140x200) et une chambre avec un lit simple (90x200) ainsi qu'un matelas (90x200) dessous, qui peut être sorti pour dormir. Il y a deux salles de bains (baignoire/WC douche/WC). La cuisine est neuve (induction, micro-onde, lave-vaisselle, ...) et est ouverte sur la pièce principale (>30m2). Cette pièce, qui héberge la table à manger ainsi que 2 canapés et une zone "jeux" pour les enfants, est plein sud, a deux grandes porte-fenêtres qui ouvrent sur un balcon qui fait la longueur de l'appartement (~1m de profondeur). Le panorama est impressionnant, avec une vue sur les toits des chalets, et sur les montagnes dans le lointain ...

Verbier is one of the famous ski resorts in Switzerland (if not worldwide). Excellent snow anytime in winter as ranging from 1600m (resort) up to 3330m (Mt Fort). Verbier's restaurants and nightlife are quite well-known too (although we do not practiced it lately due to the children :-).

Summer is also very pleasant, with a classic music festival (www.verbierfestival.com) end of july, a golf course ... and hundreds of km of trails and paths to go hiking or mountain-biking. Chamonix (France) or Aosta (Italy) are less than 1 hour drive, and Martigny (Roman city, with Gianadda foundation, www.gianadda.ch) less than 30min.

Verbier is around 2h away from Geneva airport (GVA).

Verbier est un des domaines skiables les plus connus de Suisse (si ce n'est du monde). Neige excellente tout l'hiver, car le domaine skiable s'étend de 1600m (station) à 3330m (Mt-Fort). Les restaurants, bars et toute la vie nocturne de Verbier sont aussi réputés ... mais avec les enfants, nous l'avons peu pratiquée ces derniers temps :-)

L'été est aussi agréable, avec un festival de musique classique (www.verbierfestival.com) fin juillet, un parcours de golf ... et des centaines de km de sentiers pour faire des randonnées à pied ou en VTT. Chamonix (France) ou Aoste (Italie) sont à moins d'une heure, et Martigny (ville gallo-romaine, et fondation Gianadda, www.gianadda.ch) à moins de 30min.

Verbier est à 2 heures de l'aéroport de Genève (GVA)
