A brand-new Whole Foods is two blocks away and we have a farmers market just blocks away throughout the year. You may easily walk to the theater, countless restaurants, 24-hour Fitness, Yoga studios, bars/pubs/wine bars, coffee shops, library, bakeries, bookstores, boutique shops, grocery stores and more.

The house is also an easy 1/2 mile walk from beautiful Grant Park with its outdoor pool, fountain & wading pool (during summer months), children's playground and dog off-leash area.

The Portland mass transit rail system (The MAX) is within an easy walk and takes you quickly to downtown, the city zoo and many other popular attractions within the city.

Finally, the Oregon wine industry is burgeoning and many of the wineries as well as the lovely Oregon Coast are within a 2-hour drive from our home.

We are open to just about any destination in the world that is safe for adventurous children. Our home may be available for non-simultaneous exchanges as we often go out of town for up to a week. All options will be considered! For Northwesterner's, we'd love to consider weekend exchanges!

We (Robert and Maxine) are physicians with flexible schedules. Our daughter is 9 and son is 6. We are athletic and adventurous and desire to see as many different parts of the world as is possible while maintaining some sanity for our children. Our kids are well-traveled and extremely well-behaved and understand how to be respectful of people, animals and property. Our home has a wonderful collection of books, child-gear and culinary tools to share. We are very clean and keep our home in excellent shape. Our Black Labrador-Newfoundland mix dog can easily be cared for elsewhere during your stay.
