Crested Butte all year from the back deck, dining room, and office, back yard, plus you can watch the sunset, fireworks, winter ski torch light parade and more all from the comfort of the house! Perfect for spring, summer, fall and winter sports. Any time of year. Enjoy winter skiing with the slopes only 1.5 miles away. Town bus picks up one block away from our front door and will drop you off at the slopes.

This is a second home which was remodeled with upscale finishes and an extensive art and photography collection from Images of Nature one year ago. It is a two-story home with three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, office with sitting area, living room with flat screen tv, dining room for six, tv in bedroom, kitchen with open bar, mud room on entrance, laundry room, and upper deck with dining for six.

It is located on the most desirable side of town and is the fourth house from the beautiful trails to the Lower and Upper Loop. You can walk out the front door and at the end of our street start you hike or bike ride up either the Upper Loop or Lower Loop trail which you can continue all the way to Slate River and back into town. Located on a very quiet street (that doesn't run all the way through town so you don't get traffic!) and only three blocks from the main street, Elk Avenue, where you can walk to dinner or the local shops which carry everything from hiking gear to upscale clothing. The home has been professionally decorated and landscaped and offers all the amenities of home.

No need to rent bikes! We have two mountain bikes, two town bikes and one child's mountain bike with helmets you are welcome to use. Everything you need to picnic and enjoy the weekly party in the town park with a live band, or cookout is also provided. Camelback backpacks are also available.

Enjoy some of the most incredible scenery the West has to offer. Great skiing, hikes, mountain biking, and sightseeing for all ages and levels. Beautiful flowers in the summer and September Splendor offers the most vibrant foliage. Various festivals throughout the year. Any time is the perfect time to visit Crested Butte. The caretaker and his wife are two doors down and available should you need anything during your stay. Professional housekeeping is also available.

Crested Butte has been designated as the "flower capitol" of Colorado. Breathtaking views, flowers, foliage and incredible scenery everywhere. We fell in love with Crested Butte 15 years ago and continue to enjoy it more and more! It's where our family gets away from the hussle and bussle of life and really enjoys time with each other in a beautiful mountain town unlike anywhere else in the West.

Crested Butte offers everything you could possibly desire in a mountain town. Take walks, hikes, fish, golf, bike, get involved in a summer softball game, cookout on Slate River, enjoy the many camps offered for children, eat gourmet meals, watch breathtaking sunsets from our back deck, ski from December through April, go dog sledding, have snowball fights, take in a movie at the local theatre - you name it and Crested Butte has it to offer to your family!

Crested Butte offers life in a small town where you can enjoy activities throughout the day and then walk into town for fine dining or let your children walk to the local toy store (you can use our walkie talkies) or bike over to one of the town parks. It really is a one-of-a-kind experience!

Crested Butte has it all and our house is centrally located- fine dining, movies, hiking, biking, lakes, shopping, galleries, golfing, canyons, dog sledding, skiing, snowmobiling, horse drawn sleigh rides, hot air balloon rides, cross country, kayaking, fishing (guided and float trips), rafting, wagon rides and cookouts, yoga (Bikram and regular), upscale spas, local library, camps for children, festivals, town parties, food and wine festival, fat tire week, and more. It's all just steps or minutes away from our home!

We enjoy traveling to every destination and we are flexible with dates. Of particular interest to us is Hawaii, Cabo San Lucas, California, Cayman Islands, Burmuda, Costa Rica, Turks & Caicos, and other locations throughout Colorado.

We enjoy the mountains so much we moved from Texas to Boulder six years ago. My husband, Mark (60), is a semi-retired (I'm trying to get him to be anyway!) attorney, real estate developer, past President of Goldking Oil and Gas, and CPA. I'm, DeLanda (41), the CEO of our little family - a wife, mother and volunteer who is a busy professional studio portrait photographer in Boulder. We have a twelve-year-old son, Harry, who is very mature for his age, takes toshindo, plays the cello, is in theater, and enjoys photographing the places we visit. Harry is always very considerate of others and their property. Our son is used to traveling and staying in upscale homes and he is cautious around fine breakables. Our family will treat your home with the utmost care and respect.
