|Children in our Party:
Our house is situated just two miles from the heart of Oxford. We live on a 1930s crescent, overlooking a green with established trees.
The house has a large open-plan living room with original wooden floors. There is a dining area, kitchen and conservatory. The dining table has comfortable seating for 6 people. The kitchen is fully-fitted, with the usual range of appliances. There is also a ground-floor toilet and shower. On the first-floor there is an attractive bathroom, a bedroom with a firm king-size bed, another with a double bed and a third with a single bed. The home has Wi-Fi.
The house is light and airy. We like to think of our home as warm and welcoming, with lots of pictures and books. We have lots of toys available were you to need them.
The sunny garden is attractively landscaped, featuring a lower patio and an upper play area. The garden is well established with mature shrubs. The paved area is perfect for relaxing or eating.
There are is one adult and one child cycle available for use, and plenty of local cycle paths and country lanes to explore. We can borrow other bikes if needed.
Our house is situated in a quiet, safe residential area just ten minutes by bike from the centre of Oxford. The house overlooks a beautiful green and benefits from a warm and friendly community atmosphere. There are local shops 3 minutes away on foot.
We are a 10-minute bike or bus ride into central Oxford. Alternatively, you can walk comfortably into the city in 20 minutes. Oxford is a beautiful historic university town. It boasts an unrivalled academic history. The city has great museums, shops, restaurants, theatres, cinemas, etc.
Oxford is very centrally located and a good base to explore the wider area. London is around one hour by car or 50 min to London Paddington train station. The Cotswolds, Shakespeare's Stratford, and Bath are all within easy reach, and the coast can be reached in around one and a half hours.
This exchange would be perfect for a student or an academic from LA who wishes to access Oxford , alternatively, this exchange has also worked with families.
|Auto Exchange is not offered
