| We would like to visit family in Munich from April 16 to 30, 2010 as well as August 2 to 9, 2010. We would be glad to offer non-simultaneous exchange in return. Our house is available from 1 to 31 March and 14 to 25 April, 2010. Other dates can be negotiated, BUT our house is NOT available during the World Cup from June 11 to July 11, 2010. | Would love to spend January - March in Rome where I would like to do some writing. You could spend our glorious summer in Cape Town. I enjoy rain and snow, so if you like sun and sea we would make a perfect swap!
Would also consider another Italian city - Varese, Venice etc.
As I am planning to see Wagner's Ring in Vienna in late March, I am also open to Vienna - a city I have come to love.

| Being a single guy I would like to have restaurants and shops nearby, also places of entertainment. Naturally I do drive a car (far too often!), but when on holiday I prefer walking rather than driving motor cars - facilities within walking distance would be great. Scuba diving facilities are high on the list of desirables. Good food and even better wine of course. Places with historical and cultural significance are of interest. I speak English and Afrikaans fluently and a very little German and would prefer to travel to destinations where English is understood. |
