Accessible Accessible means that your property is more suitable for people with limited mobility. Homes with narrow hallways, lots of stairs and other issues should not be marked as "accessible."
Cookie A cookie is a tiny snippet of code that allows sites like Amazon.com, eBay.com and HomeExchange.com to serve up information unique to each user. When you browse the site, click on any listing and your information is already filled into the email form, that is a cookie at work! Without cookies you would not be able to login, access your account or perform any of the functions you need to be able to do as a member.

Home Exchange Home Exchange is where two properties are swapped for a period of time for vacation purposes. You stay in my house while I stay in yours!
Home ID Home ID number is the number your property is assigned when you enter it into the HomeExchange.com system. You can search via the home ID of any listing on the site. It is basically a reference number for each property.
Long Term Long Term applies to the length of your vacation, and to us means a vacation of more than 6 weeks. It might mean 3 months, or a year or more. Anything outside of the normal vacation time frame of 6 weeks could be considered long term.

My Favorties This is the section of the site where all the listings you have saved for reference purposes are stored. You must be logged in to view your saved listings. From this area you can also email multiple saved listings with one email message.
Private Boat To tag your listing as "Private Boat" you have to either be offering up your own boat for exchange, or make a boat available as part of your home exchange. Simply having boats in your area does not mean you want to tag your listing a "Private Boat."
Second Home A second home is what we call a property owned by someone that is not their primary home. Second Homes usually have a much more flexible schedule for exchanges since no one lives in the house full time.
Seniors Anyone 60+ years old would be considered a senior. Often this group has more flexibility when arranging vacation time.
