The map feature and the location is currently based on your city/place name and zip or postcode. The city/place name MUST be your actual city name, not a description of where you are, or any names of cities you are close to. Also, please only use letters and NO "- "or "/" or "(" or ")" symbols in your city name field.

To make adjustments to the map that displays with your Listing, you need to login to your account

1. You can click here to go to the login page, or simply go to our web site and click on the "Sign In" link located at the very top of each page on the site.

2.The next screen displayed will be the "Your HomeExchange.com Account" screen. Under the heading "My Listings"
you will see your Home ID number(s) and the following links:

• Edit Listing Information
• Manage Listing Photos
• View Feedback
• Renew Listing

3. Click the blue option "Edit Listing Information"

From the edit Listing page, you can edit your city name until the map corresponds to your proper location.

The map on your edit Listing page will change in real time as you edit your location details. Once you edit your city name, or any other field, and click out of that field, the map will readjust to match the most recent information you have entered on that page.

If after trying the above instructions, you are still having problems with your map not displaying your location at all on zooming in, then please try removing your zip or postal code and checking you map, as occasionally Google maps has the zip code information setup incorrectly.

Don't forget to click on the bottom that reads "SAVE MY LISTING INFORMATION" located on the top and bottom of the edit listing page for any changes you have made to be permanently saved.
